How are e-readers for library books?
I'm considering getting a Nook ... but I've been making a lot more use of the library recently and was wondering what the selection is like for e-readers. My concern is that I'd get the Nook but end up going to the library for physical copies anyway. TIA!!

I borrow tons of books from my library for the Nook. I got a Nook to Android card for my tablet so I can use overdrive and not have to plug the nook into the computer to transfer the books over. I also recommend a NYPL card as they allow you to borrow for 21 days at a time and have a greater selection.

I use suffolkwave and the selection is good. The wait list is quick too. I had a Kindle, and DH just got me the Kindle Fire for my bday and I think it's easier to read one handed on the e-reader with DD.

Wow, thanks to both of you for the recs!! I'm thinking of getting the Nook Simple Touch with the glow light .. I've just been using the library a lot more lately so I wanted to make sure it would be worth it.

I LOVE my nook simple touch with glow. Honestly it has evrything I want in an e-reader. I won the kindle, the cheapest regular version and I like the nook 100x better. I haven't used it for the library yet.

Re: How are e-readers for library books?
I use http://live-brary.com/. I'm not insanely impressed with their selection but it still is cheaper then buying all of the books. Their wait list is never too bad either. It took some time getting used to their system but overall I'm happy with it.
I have the Nook Simple Touch.
