How are our 8-9 months old doing? standing? cruising?

My DS is now pulling up on everything and trying to climb the stairs. I guess we have to put our safety gate back up Chat Icon He's starting to get use to moving his feet so I think cruising is coming soon... I see him getting more and more confident (and daring!) with every passing day.

My oldest walked at 11 months, my 2nd walked at 10 months so I've joked that he will walk at 9 months. I dont think that's going to happen but you never know, they progress pretty fast when they are practicing their stuff all day long.

What are all the other kiddies up to? Who's on the move and giving other Mommies gray hairs?

We had to put our gates up a few weeks ago. She's everywhere Chat Icon ! Now she's trying to pull up on everything. It's funny it doesn't really look like pulling up. She grabs onto something and then walks her feet up to where she's standing Chat Icon . She's just starting to cruise. She'll hold onto an object and walk sideways down the length of it. Definitely in the PNP she does it. She tried yesterday with the coffee table but lost her footing and fell Chat Icon She's still crawling military style but fast. And she pauses and does these push up things where i keep thinking she's going to crawl on hands and knees but she doesn't just pause, push up and then she's off again. My little one has been pulling himself up for weeks now. Last week he started to let go of whatever he was holding to stand on his own. Two days ago he took 2 steps on his own. Last night he took 4 steps on his own Chat Icon
His older brother didn't walk until he was 1 yr. I guess my little one wants to keep up with his brother. I think within two weeks, he will be all over on his own Chat Icon
They grow up so fast Chat Icon

Lauren has yet to pull herself up at all! Chat Icon I am so not worried, it makes it 1000x easier on me so far! She gets around fast though by the army crawl. It's kind of funny to watch her move so quickly by using her arms/elbows. She does "try" to crawl, but can't. She ends up looking like she is doing some kind of break-dancing move where they move like a worm up and down on their belly Chat Icon

Andrew didn't walk until he was 15 months and I assume Lauren will follow in his footsteps. And I am quite content in that Chat Icon

Matty will be running by his 1st birthday, no doubt. Chat Icon I just pictured Tara at the playground when she had just started taking steps. Chat Icon

DS has been doing a lot the past couple of weeks. He's completely crawling now, sits up being in a laying position, and pulls hiimself up to standing. It's amazing to see how much he learns Chat Icon
