how can the dr. tell if the baby is breech?
I posted before asking if there is usually another sono after 20 weeks and many replied that there usually isn't. How can the dr. tell if the baby is breech w/o doing a sono? Thanks!

The Dr can usually feel your belly and can tell where the head is.

Re: how can the dr. tell if the baby is breech?
wellI had a sono at 28 weeks and baby was breech. But since then they have felt from the outside to feel the head in the pelvis, and it seems he is head down now.
I'll know for sure today when I go for a growth sono.
But if you have no more sonos..they can tell from outside!

They can also tell when they start doing internals at 36 weeks. I know when my doctor recently did an internal she was able to tell me that the baby's head is down and engaged in my pelvis.
