how can this be right? ww point related
i bought weight control oatmeal and i come home and its 3 pts a package as compared to my regular package oatmeal is 2? how can that be? I shoud tell you the wieght control is cinnamon flavor and my regular oatmenal is plain could that be the differnce? i didnt see plain weight control at the store though

I think it has more protein or something in it. It's supposed to make you feel fuller longer than regular oatmeal.

It's the sugar. I think the weight control oatmeal may have different nutritional info, but points wise, it is the sugar that bumps the points up.

NI info for Cinnamon & Spice - Instant Oatmeal
Equals - 3 pts
NI for Regular Instant Oatmeal
Equals - 2 pts
NI for Cinnamon Weight Control Instant Oatmeal
Equals - 3 pts
So to answer your question...it's because you have the regular instant oatmeal and are compairing it to the Cinnamon one.
The only flavors in the Weight Control is Banana Bread, Cinnamon & Maple & Brown Sugar.
