How contagious is the stomach bug? Worried!

I have to go to a good friends Bachlorette Part today and tonight.

The Bride to Be got the stomach virus on Friday. She is starting to feel better today. So we are all still going to the hotel this afternoon and out to dinner. I will be around her from 3-10pm.

I am just worried b/c i read it is very contagious for 3-10 days after recovery.

What can I do to make sure I do not get sick since I am pregnant????

I was just not going to come close to her or share anything of hers. But will that alone be enough?????

I had the stomach bug @ 6 weeks preggo and OMG it was bad. I dont even know how I got it. I would stay a good distance away without being rude lol. BRING PURELL or something!! Goodluck, and still have fun!!

Just be very careful.
Keep your hands out of your mouth and wash them frequently.
Definitely steer clear of her and just put it out there that you know she's feeling better but you'd rather be safe than sorry.

I had a stomach virus around 8 weeks.... TORTURE!!!

I had the stomach bug at 18 weeks pregnant... and it was horrible..do whatever you can do to avoid it. Its not fun while ur preggers.

I would skip the hotel and just go to dinner. Too risky to be touching things in close quarters. Wash your hands a lot...No hugging or kissing her or anyone who touched her. I was at a party where 3 people had the virus 48 hours prior to the event and 5 more people came down with it within a few days. Including myself!
