How did everyone do over the weekend on projects?

We did okay, saturday we "tuned up" all of our fishing gear, I bought DH a kayak for Fathers day & gave it to him early so Saturday we spent most of the day in the lake Chat Icon

sunday we installed a new dryer vent & hose-I'm always so paranoid about fire.
We fixed a bad tile on the kitchen floor, I bought & planted a few more veggies, I got the rest of my seedlings in the ground-started my first pumpkin patch-I'm so excited! we did our weekly yard work, mowing-weed wacking. We added seed to a few spots in the lawn that were looking shabby. I bought a few annuals for the pots on the deck.

Not a great weekend progress wise, but it was okay.

We'll find out how well our progress is holding up, after all this rain Chat Icon

My BIL helped us with the 3 yards of dirt needed to raise the grade around our house. We were getting little trickle leaks in the basement and *hopefully* this should have done the trick.

Other than that, just some rose pruning and gardening maintenance.

I didn't get to do any gardening, instead I went shopping for a shower, mom's bday, nana's bday, grocery shopping, etc.

The tiling on our bathroom was just about completed. I didn't do much but do errands. I didn't do as much as I wanted to this weekend. Chat Icon

We did a ton of yardwork, got fence and landscaping estimates, and looked at garage doors! I can't wait to see how great my house looks by the end of the summer! Chat Icon

Re: How did everyone do over the weekend on projects?

we did pretty good

Painted 3/4 of the office walls and the ceiling (the fourth wall has a bookcase bolted on, so DH needs to move that for me)

DH did a TON of yardwork and dug 1/2 the trench for our pool wiring (was wired incorrectly Chat Icon)

Re: How did everyone do over the weekend on projects?

We put mulch down, finished insulating and coving wall we replaced bc of termite damage.

But the most fun, we put together our TIKI bar and outdoor cooler, woohoo.

Sunday I did nothing but turn the sprinklers on. One day working in the hot sun while preggo was enough for meChat Icon

DH started the project of finishing our basement himself. This will be a long one, but with the way he works, it should probably be done in another month or so. We decided against putting a bathroom down there since we will probably NEVER use it and its alot of extra money for the plumbing and whatnot. Thank God DH is handy, we are saving a ton of $$$ by him doing it all. I will post pics as the process moves along.
