How did the first time go?
Feeding rice cereal that is.
Just got the go ahead last night and you can imagine my excitement lol.
Well let's just say it has not lived up to the hype.
He has not even finished it and it is very slow going.
When you fed your DC cereal for the first time, how did he/she take to it? Did they finish it?

Re: How did the first time go?
We started around 4 months because DD had spit up issues. At first she didn't want anything to do with it, so we waited 2 weeks and tried again and she seemed to like it.
Take your time, your baby needs to get used to eating something like this!
Hang in there!

Re: How did the first time go?
we started at 11 weeks BUT DS was drinking way too much formula (well over 40zs).
The first time he didn't know what to do, and only had a couple of spoonfuls.
Next day he LOVES IT and ate it all!!

Re: How did the first time go?
She had about 2 half-spoonfuls and smacked it around and wasn't looking for more. DD was almost 6 months when we started.
Just remember, they are learning to eat and their primary source of nutrition for the first year is milk.
