We definitely want a wood set with a clubhouse type thing and the basic slide, swing, etc., but the prices vary so much!! Just on the TRU site alone, they range from maybe $400 all the way up to $3k+. The higher end ones are definitely out because I can't really justify spending that kind of money on a swing set... I guess we'd want to stay <$900-1k. Can you recommend yours and where you bought it? Did you put it together yourself or did you have them come in and do it for you? If you could share pics, that would be awesome. TIA!

We only have one child (dont plan on any more) so I got one that is smaller than most, but has swings, slide, and some ruing things. It perfect for one kid and has room for when we have friedns over. I think we paid around $500

The ones for $500 that I'm seeing look really nice!! I wish they had samples in the store that we could take a look at... it's hard to judge the quality. The one we get definitely needs to last since we will be going from 1 DC to 3 this summer!

We are planning on buying one from TRU for all 3 of my kids. The one I like is 699, but is a 100 off right now, so 600 which I think isn't bad. Not sure what my DH will think though.
I like ones with the slide in front, not to the side. So beside price think about configuration of the set itself and how it would work in your backyard.

Good point about the configuration - I really need to look at the dimensions and which would fit better. Is there a $100 coupon or is it just a general sale they are having? Where can I get the coup?

There is a sale on a few of the sets, some 100 off and some 200 off. I think the sale ends 3/26. The coupon code is listed on the same webpage for whatever swingset your looking at, you just have to enter it when checking out.

Eta my IL's bought one from TRU about two years ago and the quality is great. My BIL put it together, took him the weekend working on it on and off. I know he said the instructions were annoying but I think anyone can do it. You can also hire a handyman.
