How did you feel the day/hours before you went into labor??

I know there are the typical uncomfortable feelings, but did anything change? Did you start to feel foggy? Maybe a little "out of it"? When you look back, do you remember anything different than you normally were feeling?

I felt like I was out of energy and specifically I couldnt go to the bathroom. I felt a very heavy feeling on my bladder the whole day. Then at 2AM my water broke.

I went for a facial and cooked a complete dinner the day I went into labor....so I was in good shape--but i do remember that it was very hard to walk.

Layed out, then went off to a christening........apparently I was in labor already....thought it was gas.

Had contractions on and off, laughed them off ( and cried cause I was nervous) and had baby later that nite.

ETA: only had help with mom buckling my shoes...cause I couldnt bend over

I dont really remember much of labor. I was admitted unexpectedly and was given IV's and medication to get my cervix rippened. The only thing I remember was the contractions. They were so intense and were coming 2 - 3 minutes apart. Because they were so intense and causing fetal distress I was immediately given an Epi to help calm things down. Once I was given the Epi life was great

As far as before I realized I was in labor, I was feeling fine.........I went to work!!! I felt pretty good that morning really! I shaved my legs, washed & blew out my hair nice too! I must of known SOMETHING was up I guess

I was 5 days late and up to the day I went into labor, I felt fine. Had no indications that I was going into labor (except for the fact that I was past my due date!)

For the most part I felt fine...except for the night before which I can't really explain other than to say that I just felt "off" - we went out to eat and I sort of felt removed from the environment...when we got home I went straight to bed. Woke up throughout the night with cramps but was able to go back to sleep each time...5am I was in PAIN and we started timing. I couldn't stand in the shower and DH had to help me get out.

I remember feeling okay other than this nagging back ache (which I thought was normal because I have back problems). Then I couldn't stop going to the bathroom. Apparently, I was 4 or 5-cm. dilated by then!

I felt like I had the flu... sick tired throwing up... sure enough the next morning my water broke!

Fine. LARGE and luggish but fine. I wen to the beach with DS and friends. Came home, vacuumed and washed floor, did laundry, changed sheets, made dinner....all while in labor. I Kept saying it was gas but eventually gave in and called the dr. I was 5cm when I went to the hospital.
