How did you find a new hairdresser that you like?
It's been a long time I have been getting color somewhere, but it's time to move on for sure. I have searched yelp, etc and looked at reviews. I am stuck and will need color in a few weeks, so I am busy searching.

Same. Actually it was a mom group my sis was in and this woman in the group would talk about how she did hair out of her house so we started using her.

Found my colorist on instagram. I drive from Westchester to merrick just for her. It’s not fun because I have to bring my infant and last time she was screaming. I felt terrible. I ended up walking up and down merrick road with foil in my hair hahaha

A friend of mine is a hairdresser, and when we first met, she commented on how she could fix the horrible chunky highlights that were done at an expensive salon in Bayside. I was sold.
Been with her for 14 years, followed her from Mineola to Douglaston.

A co-worker recommendation. But I have had people come up to me in stores commenting on my hair color and asking where I went. I know for sure 2 started going to the same girl because they used my first name (the only personal info I gave) as the referral - which was nice because I got a discount on my next services.
