how did your stubborn child handle going to the dentist for the first time?
how did your children handle getting thier teeth cleened? my son is 2 1/2 and i can't imagine him bein gvery good at the dentist... opening his mouth, having them look inside - i am scared at what his behavior will be like. I am going to set an appointment this week though...

I got myself dso worked up about how JAcob was going to act... I ws completely wrong..
I think it helps if the hygenist identifies with your child.. She asked if he had any issues she should know about. I told her he has sensory issues and she knew exactly how to handle my son.. I couldn't believe it. Jacob was fantastic and he was psyched that he got a toy and a cars toothbrush!!!
He said he can't wait to go back...
Dr. Charlie was great too!!!

DS freaked but the dentist has seen it all before. They were quick.
