How do Converse Chucks run?
I saw an ad for a good deal on them from Brad's deals.
I never had a pair before so was curious if they run big, small or true to size?

How do Converse Chucks run?
I love the look of them but they are *flat* and hurt my feet if I wear them too long. I even put insoles in them and they still hurt my feet.

Well they did't have my size in the color that they were running on the deal.
But now I'm glad I didn't get them - I do have wide feet and I also get horrible pain when I wear sneakers/shoes without support so they would probably have killed me/

I would suggest trying them on in another store before ordering. They don't come in half sizes so for me I have to size down.

They come in half sizes. My Converses are a men's 4.5 (I usually wear a women's 6.5 in other shoes).

They come in half sizes. I'm a 7.5 and have been wearing chucks in that size forever. The only ones that don't come in half sizes are some specialty designs.

TTS, but they are so uncomfortable, especially by where the white part starts by the toe. I get blisters because they are too narrow.

I was going to say, my feet are on the wider side so I go up a half size in them...and still find them very uncomfortable :(

Same here, and they are heavy. I love the look, but hate the feel.

REALLY?!?!?! I could swear that years ago the sales person told me no to half sizes and I never questioned it since. I just order a new pair when my current pair is down to nothing. Never questioned it or looked any further. Things you learn.
I know a lot of people find them uncomfortable and heavy but they are one of the few sneakers I can walk around in all day and be comfortable.

How do Converse Chucks run?
Try the shorelines. I prefer them in style -- make my foot look smaller! Not sure if they come in half sizes. I'm an 8 1/2 and went with the 8 which was a little snug at first but i broke it in.
