You hold the "m" button down ....until .... a 1 flashes, and then a 2 flashes etc. Stop on the cycle day you are. I am not sure, but I don't think you can reset it past around day 3-5. Oh and whatever "time" you set it...you will have to test....'about' that time every day. Give or take an hour or two. That's why they say to test in the AM. It makes consistent testing easier. The fertility monitor is excellent!

thanks is this the same thing to do if i want to reset it b/c someone else used it? a friend of mine gave me her monitor.

Not sure if this is true or not but they don't recommend you use a monitor that's been 'used'.
The monitor is computerized and it 'learns' you. It will ask you to 'test' based on your cycles and it will state when your Af is due based on your 'lp'.....if it' used, i would definitely use opks and bbt along with the monitor. Just to make sure, they are coinciding
