Re: How do i begin searching for a financial planner
Hello, Desepoli Wealth Management would love to help you. We are a financial firm located in Port Jefferson. Please take a look at our website to learn more about us if you are interested. www.desepoliwealth.com
Here at Desepoli Wealth, all initial consultations are complimentary. We are not paid hourly, but we are fee-based advisors. Due to the various types of financial services, it is hard to give a hard quote fee. The fees associated with various programs will be clearly outlined in the initial meeting.
It would be our pleasure to meet with you at our office. If you want to find out any information, please don't hesitate to call. 631-878-5117.
Warm regards, Mike Desepoli Desepoli Wealth Management

Re: How do i begin searching for a financial planner
We have used a financial advisor for years. Initially we paid something like $200 or $300 (I really don't remember) for him to draw up a financial profile specifically tailored to us. Then we have met with him at least once a year to go over our investments and make changes as needed. We don't pay him directly. He gets a % of our investments. We have been very happy with him. If you want his name and #, let me know.

How do i begin searching for a financial planner
I know this post is really old but since it’s still at the top, in case it is helpful for anyone, look for a financial advisor who is a fiduciary and who is not commission-based.
