How do i clean my new laminate wood floors?

Anyone know...someone told me wood cleaner, so i used BONA, but it was coming out streaky, so i stopped. Also on the Bona Bottle it did not say to use on laminate flooring.

I use Swiffer wetjet - they have a wood floor solution. No fuss, no muss.

I've been on a green kick, trying to use less chemicals around the house. I use a 1/2 vinegar 1 gallon warm water solution with a well wrung sponge mop. I find it cleans so much better than any other product I used in the past.

I use an Oreck Steam Mop. I had a Shark, but it stopped working after 10 months. I later read it was a common problem. :( The Oreck was more expensive, but you can adjust the amount of steam, use it to clean grout, glass, countertops etc. On my wood and laminate floors, I use it on the lowest setting. It will also sanitize if you use the highest steam setting and hold it there for 5 seconds.

One thing I have noticed with the Oreck and other steam mops is that you have to change the cleaning cloth often or you start to get streaks. Not like every 5 minutes often, but after every other use often (unless the floors are really dirty, then maybe every use). They are washable, so it's not a big deal, just something to remember.

I haven't tried vinegar in it though, that's a great idea. I'm going to try it today!
