How do I clear out the web addresses I have recently visited
Today is my last day at work...and I want to clear out the recently visited web addresses.

Go to Tools, then Internet Options and you will see options for Deleting Files, Cookies and your recent history.

Open the internet
Go to Tools
Internet Options
Temporary internet files...press delete files
Temporary internet files...press delete cookies
Temporary internet files...press settings...view files and delete the files that show up there....
And then press Clear History.

tools
then click o internet options
then click on clear hsitory
That's what I do to clear the address bar.
But when i'm typing in an adress with the same begining as another one, the old adress still pops up for me

That's the AutoComplete option
Tools/Internet Options - Content Tab, Autocomplete
Clear Forms, Clear Passwords
Also your websites are cached (even after you clear your history) somewhere but I'm not sure how to find the cache & delete it.

In addition to going to tool, internet options and deleting files & cookies ..
also, go to your C drive, got ot mycomputer, find your user name and go into and delete the items in your temp folder, your temp internet folder and your cookies folder.
That should take care of everything.
