How do I fix stain blotches in pine molding?
So last night I spent about 2 hours at home depot picking out all the wood we need for the kitchen. I tried to be careful with the pine but got blotches in it while staining. Is there a way to fix the blotches? I don't want to have to scrap all this wood. Thanks.

sounds like you ran into some end grain... which soaks up stain like a sponge... sounds like that link gave you some good suggestions....
Watco & Minwax are both good stains- not sure where you can buy Watco anymore though.
