how do I get him to poop in the potty?

Ds is pretty much 100% pee trained. He has been in underwear since last Thursday with no pee accidents. But he has pooped twice since then in his underwear. I am just going to have to let him dirty his underwear every 2-3 days until he decides that it's gross or what?
