How do I give notice that I've taken another position?

I was offered & accepted a position yesterday that I was hoping to get.

I've been at my current positio for 6 years, and need to give notice, but no one is here!! The one partner is leaving for a European trip tonight until 7/15, and the other is at a client's office, although he is reachable by phone. I was hoping someone would be available to talk to in person, but it doesn't look like it will happen today.

Should I speak to just the one partner on the phone? email them both that I need to speak to them? I'd like to give 2 weeks notice and start the new position on the 10th, which is unfortunately before one returns from his vacation.

Any suggestions?

I would email them and let them know you need to speak with them

Thanks for your response. He just showed up & we talked, and I called the other. It went well, and I am sooo excited to start fresh!
