How Do I Go About Getting The ACTUAL Violations Of DayCare Centers That I Am Interested In?
Anyone know? I know how to get to the site to look for daycares and see if they have violations, but I want to see WHAT THESE VIOLATIONS ARE.

i remember calling a while back when i heard someone filied a complaint at the center my DD went to (years ago). I have this # in my rolodex- 631-342-7110. I dont know if that is still the #, but its a start.

This is the same site I used. I actually printed it out and brought it with me to the daycare. The director looked at it like it was in another language. She then pointed out what some of the smaller things were (like missing paint). But she was puzzled about some of the other ones and actually sent it to the owner for answers. I was a little put off she didn't know, but there was nothing I was really concerned about on the list.
There was one place in Riverhead I looked up (just for comparison) and that place had on there horrible things like, "Locking a child in a dark closet is not an acceptable for of punishment."

I am looking into Kinder Care...it seems all of them have violations, however, they seem like they were a while ago and nothing major. Humm...
