?
You mean how do you keep other people from tapping into your wireless router? In the router, there are several options to have security, lock out so only your laptop can connect, etc. It should all be in the manual that came with the router.

Click on this link: http://192.168.1.1/ and put in the username and password the tech setup with you when they installed it on your computer.
There are security settings you can change in there. Just make sure you read everything before you change it.
By default, it should be set so that anyone wanting to connect needs your WEP key. It's on a sticker on the side of your router.
Provided you don't give that to anyone who shouldn't have it, you should be ok for now.
