If I want to write the name of a song in my lesson plan...do I underline it? put it in quotes? How do I do it?

Song titles would be in quotes because they're not full-length works.

APA has the title with nothing done to it
Songwriter, W. W. (Date of copyright). Title of song [Recorded by artist if different from song writer]. On Title of album [Medium of recording]. Location: Label. (Recording date if different from copyright date).
Taupin, B. (1975). Someone saved my life tonight [Recorded by Elton John]. On Captain fantastic and the brown dirt cowboy [CD]. London: Big Pig Music Limited.
but I would quotes or put it italics
