How do i write a letter to the higher up at People Magazine??
Im MAD!! Went online to pay for subscription, used payapl (im very familiar with paypal) and it asked me to create a billing agreement with People, i did and hit continue thinking to would take me to the secure paypal page to deirect which account i wanted payment to come from...NOPE...as soon as i hit continue it saud "thank you your payment is being processed". i knew it was going to come out of the wrong account, it never gave me the option to decide! I called and immediately cancelled it, it still charged me the $39.42 and got a $35 overdraft and my CC payment was kicked back because of account was in the negative so i got a $35 late fee. People reimbursed me the $35 overdraft and told me to fax the statements from both bank showing the overdrawn account and the CC was kicked back with a late fee...i paid $5 to have all that faxed...3 reps told me i would get a refund...called today and they are like...we don't refund CC even though they are the reason the payment didn't get made!! I don't think that should be on me when they payment would have been made if the account was in the positive. I want to write the higher ups about this whole situation but i cam't find an address to write to them....
anyone know where i can find the address to write to?? Am i in the wrong here?
Thanks! Sorry for the vent!

Im not sure how to get you to the higher ups, but you should call back and ask to speak with a manager. People is owned by Time Inc. Maybe contact someone there.

I would call them back but the girl i spoke to (who is the same girl i spoke to last week) spoke with 3 different managers and they all said they wouldn't refund my CC fee so i don't see a point to calling again, i figured i would write about my experience and disgust with their customer service department to the higher up management.

If you look in the masthead of a copy of People there is contact info. I don't have last week's copy but when I get this week's I'll post it here for you.

You should be able to do a google search to find out that information. Try also the magazine's web site too - there might be a link to the publisher's information.
