When you get one, the instructions inside will tell you when to start using the kit based on the number of days in your cycle. Generally, they have you starting a few days before you may be expected to ovulate. Keep in mind that that number can fluctuate - at least they did with me.

Yeah thats what i figured. I guess its not a perfect science so there will be some trial and error.

If it helps, I always used digital and they were always accurate for me. I know this because I was monitored so closely and frequently through sonograms. Very little room for error, but everyone is different.

I've only used for one month, but I'm switching over to digital since they're a bit easier to read. Some of the ladies here have recommended Clear Blue Digital Easy.

Don't forget to use them in the afternoon and try to hold your urine for a few hours before testing. Do not use FMU!
