how do u know if it's.... (diaper rash?)

how do u know if it's fungal, yeast, or a plain ol' rash?

ds has had a rash for 2 weeks now. the butt paste has helped but it keeps coming back and now he has 2 red spots too.

could it be the huggie's night time diapers?

I always had to ask the dr to know if it was a yeast rash. After her 3rd or 4th yeast rash they prescribed a larger tube of the cream with a few refills so even once once in a while I'll use it if it's a persistant rash.

Basically if it doesnt go away you know that there is a fungus amungus!!!

This isnt a fool proof claim but one that I have always found to be true..I usually give it a couple of days of a really good coating of Desitin and powder and if it doesnt clear up at all its usually a yeast rash.
