How do you...
turn "teacher brain" off....yes ladies at 6:30 this morning I was up feverishly writing out the lesson I came up with in my sleep and now I can't go back to bed...ahhhh..............off to the gym!
But, I must say, the lesson is going to kick arse when I do it!!

Re: How do you...
I don't know but I have to say, the waking up in the middle of the night thing...well, I've been productive when that happens because of this profession. I have learned not to get frustrated and toss and turn. I get up, I actually create lessons and projects and then go back to sleep.

Re: How do you...
I have the opposite problem... I can't seem to turn my "teacher brain" on when I need to get my work done.
Maybe just allow yourself to think about work-related things at certain times of the day, like set aside one hour to do work and that's it, so it's not always on your mind.
