How do you accessorize your end tables? UPDATE with Pics
We got our new end tables today and we got some new lamps. The tables are 24x24 and even with a chunky lamp, everything looks so empty.
I was thinking of old books and maybe one or two tasteful chatchy items. I will probably have to hold off on too many breakable until Sash is older..
Any pics for inspiration?

Update...
I just threw a few things together based on what I could get my hands on around the house. Still have a lot of stuff like this in boxes, but I think it looks pretty good! It's a work in progress, but I think the room is really starting to come together!

Right now.. frames. Anything else Liam tries to look at, play with etc. Even the frames are cheap ones. He takes them and walks around pointing at me in the pictures and saying, "Mamma"

I have a lamp on each end table. On one table I have a nice 5 x 7 frame and on the other a nice candle holder. I will probably have to put these things in storage one day when I have a LO that walks!

Maybe you could use some of your DC's books to put on their - double duty - function and decoration.

My end tables each have a shelf on the bottom. So I use the shelves as book holders (for photo albums). On top of each I have a lamp and a pic of DH and I.

I don't think so-- if she does, I will take it away. She's pretty good though. I really worry more when I have playdates here!
