Not sure what kind you had. But I had the microwave bags sterilzers and I used them until I stopped using bottles. So a whole year. So convenient and easy.

Yeah I used these and LOOOOOVED them! But if it something more complicated I'd say return it.

Honestly tho, I think germs are good to a certain degree. I hand wash all of her stuff. I do not santize after that first shot. I did for a month or so. Then stopped. I do not use the d/w on her stuff. She has her own sponges and that's what I use.

I used them for my breast pump parts and found them super convenient!

i am BF-ing, so thanks for the input. i will keep that in mind.

ITA with this, but a word of advice--DON'T sterilize the tubing that connects the pump to the breast shields. My DH did that and they turned to soup in the sterilizer Chat Icon. Burnt part of the plastic tray in the sterilizer and we had to pick burnt pieces of tubing out of it Chat Icon

We used ours all the time with DD, and will again with DS. I also think they are AWESOME for pacifiers. I wash all the pacis regularly, but it gives me peace of mind to be able to sterilize them after DD has been sick or after they wound up in gross places, like on the floor of the public bathroom Chat Icon

I used the medala pump and santizied all the hoses in there. They were fine. they have different directions tho.
