How do you cancel a gym membership?
Can I just call or is there some kind of procedure? I think I have heard you have to send a certified letter or something like that? Its Crunch gym.

Do you know what their policy is? Is there a cancellation clause? I would call up and ask them what it is needed to cancel. You are sometimes required to send them a letter. If you are cancelling before your contract is up, they may be entitled to the balance of what's owed on the contract.

I know my gym you have to go in person and sign another contract saying you are leaving and call the headquarters. They make you do it in person to try to get you to stay. I'm not part of crunch gym but I'm sure its something similar.

when i belonged to crunch i just had to mail a letter with my id card to the address int he contract - my contract had expired
just be careful if your contract has not expired crunch is owned by ballys and they impose penalities for ending early
when i ended aballys membership i had to say i moved to vt and was not close to any of their gyms- used my grand parents addresss
