How do you clean battery operated toys with cloth parts?
We stored a bunch of DS#1's toys and started bringing them out for DS#2. Many of them are gross. I'm tempted to toss them out and buy new.
I'm especially disgusted with the exersaucer. It was sitting in my parent's basement for almost 2 yrs and wasn't wrapped. It's not just dusty but has that mildewy basement smell to it.

anything that fits in the washer, I just take out batteries and wash. My moto was if its not washable its not for us. Nothing was ever destroyed. Even laugh and learn puppy with all its sensors and such, came out perfect.
With excersaucer I would take it outside and hose it off. Then apply some non-toxic surface cleaner (like method makes one) and massage it in then hose it off again and let dry in the sun.
