Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
Small stuff that's plastic I put in the top rack of the dishwasher. I've washed his stuffed animals
Usually wipe down a lot of his stuff with the Clorox wipes. They say it's safe for a baby's room

Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
I wipe them with clorox anywhere spray and then rinse them in water. But I think filling the sink or tub with water/bleach is a better idea (for toys that can be submerged)

Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
I let them soak in the sink with water/bleach combo - and rinse. Works great. And for stuffed animals, swing liner, exersaucer liner etc - I throw all of that in the wash. Good as new.

Soap and water, rinse thoroughly.
I also bought a special cleaner at BBB that is supposedly safe for babies.

Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
For stuffed animals and such I just throw in the wash, on cold with the Seventh Generation baby detergent (no perfumes dyes ect) along with his clothes and just dry them on a drying rack, (no dryer) they came out great to my surprise like new!
For plastic toys I just run in warm/hot water with a bit of soap (I hate bleach, but that's just a personal thing)

Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
I'm a believer that sterile environments are to blame for the increase in allergies later in life.
Unless they came in contact with someone with a terrible disease, I plan on just wiping down with water and mild soap. Which, a lone, removes most of the germs.
If its really necessary, then I'd soak them in a bleach and water solution.
eta: this is my favorite dish and toy soap, its almost edible its so safe

Re: how do you clean DCs toys?
I wash all the tiny stuff like I was her bottles- soak with dish soap and then wash by hand (small platic chew toys, etc). For bigger stuff like exersasaucer, etc. I use Babyganics toy and high chair cleaner.
