How do you clean grout?

We have white tile in our bathroom with a light grout. It annoys me that it never really gets clean. I have a scrub brush and plan on doing it now - I was just wondering if any products work better than others for getting grout clean?

Bleach works best but tilex is a good alternative.

I just bought a scucci(sp?) steamer and it works great for cleaning tile and floors.

For white grout I get down on my hands and knees and use the Clorox Bleach Pens. I do sections at a time, let it sit for 20-30 minutes then srub with a scrub brush then rinse and move on to the next section.
Pain in the @$$, but looks brand new.

Try the Magic eraser but make sure you have a bunch of them. I have also used bleach cleaner and a scrub brush

I tried the magic eraser and it didn't work like I thought it would - esp. because I am convinced it can clean anything!!!

The clorox pens sound like a way to go. I'm going to see what I have now and try it - if it doesn't come out good I'll move onto that.

You can also regrout in a darker color. Not expensive and makes the tiles look brand new.

I have no idea and have tried all of those things... I think my grout is permanently discolored and I think I may have to regrout.

I love Tilex but about once a month, I bleach everything (we have tan with light grout). The best remedy is just upkeep. I scrubbing bubbles once a week too.
