How Do You Deal w/ Stress?
I am feeling VERY stressed lately. I have little to no patience. How do you deal?
Normally , I would have a glass of wine but, that's out. (Yes, I do know that some doctors say it's fine to drink a glass. But, I refuse)

Wine is normally what i do too
But sometimes the non alchol thing that works for me is to take a warm bath, light candles lock the doors and just relax and release. I also have one of those nature sounds things and i listen to that while thinking happy thoughts

I've been taking lots of baths and eating lots of ice cream.

I usually don't answer any phone calls, don't take any visits, relax - watch some tv - snack on something - (don't worry about any dirty dishes, dirty clothes) - you'll get to it when you can.
Just a warm bath and dedicate the rest of the afternoon to yourself in any way you can

This sounds like some really good advice. Hang in there Tracy, you are almost there, and maybe then your hormones will get back to normal. At least thats what everyone is telling me!

Re: How Do You Deal w/ Stress?
I yell at my Husband!
I go for a walk, or out to shop, or call a friend-- I am in the beginning of my pregnancy and witha two and a half year old and being sick constantly I have lost what little of a mind I had, never mind the thin wire of patience!
Good Luck.. Soon you'll be able to have that wine!! Drink grape juice and pretend??

Re: How Do You Deal w/ Stress?
What if you made that wine, a spritzer?
They say some essential oils naturally relax you but that can be tricky with your smell aversion thing. Ask your sister how she remains so mellow!

You know i don't do seltzer!!
My sister is to laid back!! And her kids are older.
As for the bath. It's all sounds good but, getting out gets DAMN frustrating!!! LOL
I think my husband is FINALLY coming to the relazation that I am overwhelmed & is attempting to make it a little easier on me. (at least he was yesterday!)

Re: How Do You Deal w/ Stress?
I don't think I've found a way to deal with it really during the pregnancy except for to have my husband hug me in bed and just sleep it off.
We still have that "newlywed" thing going on so it usually works.
