how do you deal with feeling tired, achy, and crabby?!

This is me in a nutshell lately. I feel bad because it's worst in the evening after working all day and I feel like I am always complaining to DH. What are some remedies you use for a "pick me up"?

We are about the same point in pregnancy and I thought it was just me and this is also how I'm feeling. I'm staying tuned to see what advice you get. This is honestly the worst I've felt all throughout the pregnancy.

Re: how do you deal with feeling tired, achy, and crabby?!

I'm trying my hardest to just get over it and not complain. I know how much of a blessing it is that we were finally able to get pregnant and I feel like I have no room to complain when there are so many people trying so hard to get here. With that being said, I never imagined I would be feeling so bad sometimes and I definately vent to DH more then I should.

Honestly? I just give into it. I come home, and if I need to I vent, and complain, and he is wonderful enough to listen. After a few minutes of listening to myself, I realize how dumb I sound and I stop. He hugs me, I feel better, and my crabby mood is over. Sometimes, it's just best to get it out and then move on.

I ask for a vanilla milkshake and dont get one. Thats what I do. Then the cycle begins all over again.

I come home and lay on my left side for at least 20 minutes or so. I also vent if I need to.

I nap nearly every day, but my work day ends by 4.
It solves the tired, achy, and cranky problem for a lil while.

i vent to others too, but i find the most comfort from eating something i am craving, if i can get my hands on it, sometimes i just cant! but when i can, a good cheeseburger, a snack like girl scout cookies, ice cream or candy like chocolate or sour patch kids will all usually make me feel better, Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm right there with you, especially the last couple of days. This is your time to be selfish, so do whatever you need to in order to get through it. Takeout helps. Chat Icon
