How do you disinfect toys?

like the small manipulatives? Can I throw them in a basket in the dishwasher, or should I throw them in a solution bucket?
Also, is it really bad to clean with a bleach solution, this is the only thing I feel really does the job

Re: How do you disinfect toys?

Depending on the toys, I eather soak them in the sink with dish detergent or if they are exrersaucer, swing, etc stuff I will use the disinfectant wipes. I'm no super huge clean freak but I think that it's better than nothing. Plain or soap and water is fine. then - air dry or dry them on a towel....

I hope this helps.

I use the clorox spray on stuff that has a lot of nooks and crannies that I can't get into.

Stuffed animals get thrown in the wash and air dried..

and other stuff I used clorox wipes or wash in the sink.
