How do you display the Christmas cards you get?
I don't really have a good place to put them. My tenant saw something in a magazine that I think I may try.
Taking red velvet ribbon and basically wrapping it around the back of a door - and attaching the cards to the ribbon.
Anyone else have any good ideas before I try this?

I stretch a ribbon over all the doorways and hang the "horizontal" cards on it. Then I kind of diagonally tape the other cards down the length of both sides of the doorway. Your way sounds nice too!

I have a sled that I put them in. It's easy to get to if someone is over and wants to look through the cards.

LAst year I took Christmas ribbon and hung it down the middle of our coat closet door, taped some around two doorways, AND strung across the top of one of the 2 above doorways.

My SIL does the ribbon thing near her back door and it really looks nice!
I put all of the cards on top of the entertainment center but I need a better way to show the pictures since they end up laying flat and no ones sees them.

I have a metal bow with rings to stick each card in. It hangs on a door. I found it on Ebay, but think places like Lilian Vernon might have similar.

They look very lovely in my trash can..... Sorry - I just don't have the room for them!! I do display the picture cards on the fridge though!

I have a gold reindeer basket thing. I once tried hanging them up over a long ribbon in our living room and it kept falling.

I do the same. After the holidays, I take all the photo cards and I put them in photo albums. I like to see the kiddies grow each year

I wrap one of my closet doors like a present and tape them on with 2sided tape in some sort of decorative pattern.

We have a "clothing line" type of thing. On each end of the line, there is a big red wooden mitten. We put those on our picture nails (we take some pics down for the holidays and replace them with holiday pics and things). Then we have mini-clothes pins that we hang the pictures on the line with. It's adorable!

Growing up, we always had a red ribbon that ran around one of the doors in our house. Now, my Mom made us all Christmas trees out of foam board and covered them with green felt. There is a gold star at the top. We hang it on the wall and pin our cards to it.
