how do you do an 8 month old's hair?! HELP!
DD has long hair, and if I dont put a clip in it it's in her eyes -- she's only 8 months so she doesnt get it that I need her to keep still! I end up wrestling her every morning just to get a stinking clip in She looks at me like "what are you dooing?!".
Can anyone suggest clips that work well, or maybe even headbands? I dont know what to buy! She has super fine, straight baby hair. Ive been using little metal snap clips that hold well but theyre tough to get in.
TIA!

My only piece of advice is to be careful with the clips. When DD was that age she had a ton of hair too and I loved the way the clips looked. Unfortunately one day when my sister was watching her for me, DD ripped the clip out of her hair and ate it! It got stuck in her throat and she was choking. It was horrible. After that we only used headbands until she was old enough to realize to leave the clips alone.

ive thought of this
the first time I put one in her hair I had a mini anxiety attack because she was in the back seat of the car byherself and all I could imagine was her choking on it
you think shed keep a headband on at this age? im starting to think im just going to have to cut her hair, and it kills me

I use these little rubber band looking things for DD's hair. she can't rip it out and it's just so little.
I get a package of like 300 at walmart for around 3 bucks?

well my baby doesn't have any hair now..but my 1st DD had tons of hair and I would use the tiny rubberbands. I think you can get the goody ones..or usually at Walmart they have the colorful ones in the baby clothes section. THey have a freestanding rack with hats and belts and such on them and usually cute bows and rubberbands. Clips I would put in her hair but I'd keep an eye on her and take them out at nap time. the top ones!
