How do you feel....

About people who are not TTC, pregnant or parents lurking on this board? Does the fact that people do this, edit you more?

Not meant to start any drama- no judgments. I'm just curious.

I am no longer pg but still read this board- I feel like I have a lot to offer the pg girls. When I was pg, I appreciated the parents dropping in.

I lurked here since the site opened. I am now 10 weeks preggo and it was not really planned.

While I was a lurker, I loved reading the stories on this board... most were really funny and most were very inspirational.

So I guess to answer your question, I dont mind.

Doesn't bother me at all, I feel it is open to all. Maybe they can find the information they are looking for, for a friend, or maybe they can post legit information they have for us.

It doesn't bother me. Actually I learned alot here, before I was pregnant and I loved to see where the mommies to be were and how they were doing?

I dont offer up much personal details anymore about myself due to problems some of you know I had in the past with people stalking me and giving me a hard time.

I am on here mostly to read the posts and "prepare" I had a m/c is September and I am a research-aholic! I think sometimes I might have good info to share and if I do I post! I also love looking at nurseries since I am sort of crafty and my best friend is PG right now so I am helping her out with ideas

OMG- that's horrible. I followed your whole story and was just thrilled when you got preggo.

I don't care too much- nothing has come up that has made me want to censor myself.

One thing that started me wondering about is that I saw a thread on the parenting board while I was lurking there (I am not a parent) and thought about responding, but didn't because I didn't feel that I should- b/c I am not a parent. (It was a question, not a post of pictures of the kids). And then I began to wonder, if I am lurking on the parenting board, who lurks on here...

I always thought of this board as a community of women who are/have been/will be in the same boat. There are such intimate details of our bodies and our lives that we share. I have never felt shy about sharing anything (a) because I am not a shy person and (b) I figured we all have/were/will be there. I feel that this board is a safe- judgment free zone. There is no drama here and its great.

I guess maybe I would be hesitant to post something that is a little embarassing- although at the moment, I can't think of what that would be.

And don't worry, when the time comes- you will get all of the (hopefully not too) gory details of my birth.

i am an open person with friends and family, but do censor myself here because it is the internet.

as for lurkers, i don't really care as long as my personal rights/space are respected...

I could care less who reads this board. I used to read it before we were preggo and I was not TTC. I used to get excited to hear what everyone was going through, and I'm always interested in what the BTDT mommies have to say.
