maybe instead of "too much time on their hands" i should have used "nothing better to do"... but that may spark the same comments, i don't know. yes, we are all spending our time reading, or commenting on these threads - so one could see it as we all have too much time on our hands... but i guess i mean it more like, one having nothing better to do with their time than to make another seem smaller because of something as trivial as a grammatical error. i think we could all exert our time and energy into something better than that... whether we are spending our time on these boards or not, i think time would be better spent saying something positive or meaningful rather than calling someone out with a snide comment. JMO.

I feel like picking on someone for correcting someon is making someone feel smaller too

I kind of agree about that grammar corrections. I think usually that is done because they think the poster's point is stupid or because they don't "like" the poster
