How do you get your twins on a nap schedule? 3-6months old
Tell me about your naps
Do your twins have the same nap schedule? My kids are almost 4 months old (born 2 months early) and still pretty much just pass out on and off all day wherever (bouncy, swing car, etc) BUT they are not napping at the same time and one is starting to need to go into a quiet room sometimes. I am thinking its time to schedule in a nap time.
At what age did you establish a napping schedule ? How did you synchronize ? They are still eating every 3 hrs. Do I just wait for one to show signs of sleepiness and try to put them down in their cribs? Do you have a nap routine, similar to a bed time routine. And final question how many naps should a 3-5 month old have.

Re: How do you get your twins on a nap schedule? 3-6months old
i am just working on this now that my boys wil be 4 months on friday (adjusted age 3 months)
I learned this from the baby whisper book an dit worked for me EASY - eat, activity, sleep you time
and then pushing them to eat every 4 hours
so our schedule looks like this 7 am - BF 7:20 diaper change and play time snap is supposed to be at 9 but they seem to need to sleep at 8:30 - they go in their crib and sleep there for usually an hour and half right now
then bottle at 11 - diaper change andplay time till about 12:30/45 - supposed to be one - then nap t
3 bottle/BF - diaper change play ntime
5 - cat nap for 30 to 45 minutes
7 BF - either get them ready before after eating - matters how they fall asleep
then put them down drawsy but not asleep
i dream feed at 11 and they eat at 3 am also - i work on daytime scheduling then switch to getting rid of night feedings
sometiemes they crank for a minute but then they go to sleep
i have an older son so it gets skewed a bit but this worked for him and he sleeps 12 hours a night at2 and me nand my dh get some down time at night
