How do you hang a wreath "outdoors"? Like siding, windows
on a house? or a window? tia.
I just bought the magnetic holders and have to return them- they dont work on double pane windows
so I rigged it and uses string to hang them from my upstairs windows, I couldnt get the screen back on one of the windows though oh well. Lets see if we get wind if they stay up

I have one on my front deck & one on the door.
You can use magnetic wreath hangers, a nail or the over the door thing.

On a glass door or window I use these Magnetic Wreath Hangers I've seen them in Ace Hardware, Target, Home Depot....

oh wow thank you! on the siding of the house if I use a nail I will make a hole in it and I think my DH would go nuts hmmm wonder if there is another way to hang a wreath on the house itself.

I have a metal over the door hangar. The plastic ones can be too thick for an "outside" door.

I keep trying to figure it out b/c I want to put one above the garage door, but I know DH will literally kill me if I put a nail up since we just got the siding done in August.

The previous owners installed a hook in between the pcs of siding above the garage so there are no actual holes in the siding. They had a wreath hung there last year. We wanted to put one up this year but we need to buy an extension ladder and we just havent gotten around to it!

We have two up this year. One is tied actually on a plant hanger by our door.
The other is in the attic window, our peak window. I tied string around it, opened the top part of the window, closed & locked it, then took the extra string & wrapped around inside. It's been up about 2-3 wks now - no problems.

I have awesome suction cup hooks that I bought on QVC. Can't remember the name, but they work great on any smooth surface!

sorry technical difficulties... yes, a wreath hanger on the doors, on the garage we use a big nail, and on the windows I use wire held by bringing it in the top of the closed window.
