Where are they? I'm usually able to hide things behind furniture. They have cable runs that hide the cords in a plastic casing that you can run along the floor or walls. Some are paintable.

There are those plastic office things which have a flat piece on top so it looks like a baseboard or something. We used to get them from the office supply store, but staples might have them.
I want to attach a small shelf under my desk at home to get the wires off the floor. Right now, they're velcro'd and tied to the legs which are the same color as the cords.

we have surge protector power strips (silver ones, which match our silver/grey furniture) all over the place. We plug everything into them, and neatly fold up the cords to all the lamps and appliances, so they look organized.
