How do you jump start your metabolism/lose a healthy 5+ lbs in less than a month?

Now with the reality of TLC, I really need to lose about 5 lbs to feel "comfortable" with myself on camera...any ideas on how to jump start my extremely procrastinated diet?Chat Icon

You could try:

- adding cardio
- changing your diet- explore different foods and recipes. This can help jump start your metabolism

Cut carbs and sugar. Do all lean meats, and veggies. Its hard but it works!

What is going on with TLC?

fruit for breakfast...very cleansing ;)

then salad with protein for lunch

protien with veggies for dinner

not easy- but you will lose weight

Eat every 3ish hours. This will keep your blood sugar steady. When I say eat this often, I don't mean eat a whole meal. You should be eating 200 - 300 at each "meal".

examples:
Some eggs and fruit
yogurt(greek) and veggies
salmon and veggies
a banana and some raw almonds

You get the point.

The portions are small but your blood sugar will stay steady.

Also, workout.

eat more lean proteins and cut down on carbs. Up your water intake.
