How do you know if your neighborhood is zoned commercial or residential or both?
I am a WAHM and I'm thinking about using natural gas for my business but using oil to heat our home -- does my house need to be in a combination zone area or can I do this if it's only listed as residential?
I'm worried I might be opening up a big bad bag of questions here....
TIA.

Are you asking if you can have a business in your home, or if you can have oil and gas into the same building?
I'm sure there are many people who have gas lines for their dryer, stove and BBQ, but haven't bothered to swap their oil furnace out yet.

Re: How do you know if your neighborhood is zoned commercial or residential or both?
I think I found the info I need --
I'm zoned residential but we're allowed to do "light" business out of a home (ie consulting) without requesting a zoning change.
I want to use gas for part of the house (for the business specifically) and keep the gas bill in my business's name. National Grid was asking if I'm zoned residential or commercial so I might not be able to do it the way I want -
Thank you!
