Congrats noel
As for the c section, i had a c with my 2nd and it does goes down, at 9 months pp and 5lbs away from pre wedding weight, my goal, my stomach is 90% back to normal. You are only 8 days PP 20lbs is great loss, give your body sometime to heal and recoup, it just went through a big traumatic process over the last 9 months.
It'll come off and with the warm weather, you'll lose it, especially once you get the ok for reg exercise.
Hang in there mommy
ETA: I noticed with my c, my stomach was swollen for a little bit longer cause of the surgery, you had major abdominal surgery, if def took a bit longer for the swelling to go down then it did with my 1st vag birth.

Re: How do you loose that pouch after a baby/ especially those that had a c section?
I have to say with the c-section its worse. It took awhile for my pouch to decrease in size. And 4 months later I still have a belly. I think because of the trauma to your stomach muscles it will take longer to flatten.
I will say now 4 months PP, I still have about 15 lbs to go but my pants are getting looser meaning I am losing inches even if the lbs are being alittle stubborn.

I'm 6 months PP and i still have about 10lbs to go but my stomach is no where near what it used to be and i dont think it ever will. That's why i'd love to try a VBAC for the next one!
