How do you make those fancy cut out cookies...
people use for favors?
I know the probably are just plain cookies but how do they decorate them so nicely...is that just regular frosting?

I was looking up cake and cookie decorating tips this week.
Allrecipes.com has a few articles about frosting cookies and the different types of icings you can make. Here's a link to their frosting recipes

I made my friend's dessert for his wedding- it was a very last minute non-formal wedding b/c they're having a baby next week (their wedding was less than a month ago).
Anyway- it's sugar cookies (homemade recipe) and Royal Icing- which I tinted different colors... Image Attachment(s):

yes...you did a beautiful job! I wanted to make them for my daughter's christening but I don't want to pay the $5 per cookie charge...any tips
I'm going to try it out this weekend to see how time consuming it is...thanks
