How do you make your meatballs?

do you fry, bake or both?

if you bake them, for how long and what temp?

also, does it matter if they're ground beef or turkey?

I always fry my meatballs, DH fries them first, then put them in the oven.

I would like to try and bake them, but not sure how they would come out. looking for tips.

I have done it all...fried them, fried and then baked, and just baked. I prefer just baking them and then letting them cook in the sauce.

DH prefers that I just throw them in the sauce and let them cook in there. He doesn't like the hardness from frying or baking them.

I bake them at 375 for 30 minutes. HTH

i brown them then cook them in the suace, just dont make then too big otherwise they will take forever to cook, but i usually brown then throw them in the sauce. plus they make the sauce taste yummy!!

i take them out of the bag from BJ's and cook them in the sauce in a pot

my sister makes "3 hour" meatballs and cooks them on the stovetop

I bake them at 400 for 15 minutes or so.

Frying is too messy - they always end up falling apart!

I fry them in olive oil. I flip them over once. They are half cooked at that point. Then I put them in the sauce and cook that for over an hour.

I tried baking them and found that they were never as juicy as I would like.

I broil them...Once cooked, I throw them in the sauce as it cooks.

I'm surprise throwing them in the sauce raw works. I think mine would fall apart if I did that. I fry & then cook in the sauce.

I fry them, but just till they are brown. Then I throw them into the sauce and let them cook.

One of my bf's broils them, but I like them better fried.

Mine are made with ground turkey and ground pork

I also bake them for about 20 minutes and then cook them in the sauce

I just did this on Sunday. I cooked mine raw in the sauce and they were unbelieveablly great. I was hesitant because I thought they would fall apart but they were so good!! It was so simple and easy.
