How do you mostly shop?
In store or online?
I just can't take shopping at malls anymore. I don't have the patience. I went to the mall today and I just had to get out of there. I couldn't wait to get the hell out. When I was younger, I could spend the whole day shopping, now with 2 kids in tow I just can't deal with it anymore. I just buy what I need to and get out ASAP. How about you? Do you shop in stores or online?

I do both. If I can convince DH to watch the kids I will try to run to the mall myself to get something specific. Otherwise I shop on line for me.

I can't stand shopping online. I rarely have luck. I've come to realize that I need to try stuff on, see it in person...I like to see if I need to go up or down a size, which looks better, etc.

usually in store, I like to try on clothes & shoes before I buy them. I never know what size to buy when I buy online.

I feel like if your fit and / or petite, it's easier to have luck shopping online. I'm neither of those  I always have issues with shirts fitting everywhere except my boobs. I feel like so many designers forget the big boobed consumer.

How do you mostly shop?
I haven't been to the mall in forever... mostly b/c on the south shore our malls SUCK... although I would like to check out the bay shore mall now that its being refurbished. Mostly I shop at Marshalls or online at Loft/Modcloth/eBay.

I rarely order online unless it's something I have tried on already. And often, I am not buying enough to qualify for free shipping so I am cheap that way and prefer to go to the store to get what I need.
I don't like malls that much either, and only go a few times a year if I need something specific, like a dress for a wedding.
I too live on the South Shore, and the closest mall is the one in Massapequa that is really not that nice IMHO.
I haven't been to Roosevelt Field in several years believe it or not.
I often feel like I'm an oddball because I do not like malls.

i was just thinking yesterday how I really have NO time to shop being a FTWM.
I also have ZERO patience for the mall. Haven;'t set foot in a mall in years and years.
If I do go to a store, it's always a free standing store- never a mall.

Yeah, I totally like free-standing stores better. I feel like they are more convenient (especially in terms of getting in and getting out) and another interesting thing I noticed, is that there seems to be less turnover with employees and they remember me. Definitely makes a difference for the shopping experience IMO.

Exactly.. I have no patience. I couldn't wait to get out of there! It was so crowded too!

Mostly in stores. But I only go shopping during the week because I cant stand the crowds and lines on the weekends. I like to try stuff on before buying, especially shoes. But sometimes I'll look online to get an idea of what the store has and then I'll check it out in person.

exactly, the few times I have order clothes online I had to return it.. I only buy shoes and accessories online everything else in store

I will say this.
I always have had luck with Victorias Secret. But I think it's cuz they are chest conscious.

Mostly in stores. I work in midtown so I'll go after work to shop sometimes, or I'll wake up first thing on a Saturday or Sunday and just get it done with.
I find it more frustrating and a waste of my time if I order something and it doesn't fit right and then I have to return it.

I mostly shop online (especially during the holidays). Last year I bought all presents online and it was such a relief to not go to a mall or store trying to fight the crowds.
I'll run to the store if I need something last minute.
I also like going to the outlets to walk around.

Almost exclusively online. (I hate going to stores.) Been doing it for 13 years. I guess it was an easy transition for me being that I used to have to order from catalogs all the time due to it being hard to find my size in shoes or clothes in retail shops.

Online. I have zero patience shopping in stores. I'm very rarely alone (with kids/DH). And when they aren't with me (which is almost never), I'm watching the clock, rushing to get home.
Shirts are easy to buy online. Pants I have to try on. So if I find a style I like, I buy multiple colors. Shoes I usually buy on my lunch hour at Lord & Taylor, maybe Macys.
I really don't like shopping.

How do you mostly shop?
Stores 95% of the time. I always need to try stuff on, even shoes.
I HATE crowds in the stores though, and i'm an early bird, so i get there at opening, or else i don't go. I normally don't hit crowds doing that.
