How do you plan your WW meals?
Do you plan for the week...the night before or day by day? I guess it will get easier as time goes on but it took me a long time to come up with my meals and snacks for tomorrow.

Re: How do you plan your WW meals?
I am fairly new (cple weeks) but I have been buying staples (like sandwich thins, coldcuts, WW bagels, fruits, veggies)
the morning I usually have a ARNOLDS thin with a WW cream cheese or WW bagel bc it is easy
Lunch I make a sandwich on a thin and have a side salad
dinners i make a lean protein, veggie and sometimes a carb
snacks are fruits, piece of cheese, slice of turkey etc...
I also have some smartone frozen meals, lean pockets etc on hand in case I need a meal quick/on the go...
Breakfast and Lunch are fairly boring
But for dinner I have been going to the website and trying recipes..last night I made Shrimp Schezun which I found on on of the WW message boards..I added veggies to beef it up and fill me up bc I had a hard work out

Re: How do you plan your WW meals?
During the week is easier for me - I tend to eat similar things for lunch/snack while I'm at work. I've bought a lot of 1pt snacks (Fiber One 90 cal bars, String Cheese, Hostess chocolate cupcakes, etc).
I leave a set amount of points for dinner. DH cooks most nights and I fit what he makes into the remaining points left (it's easier if it's chicken or fish - it's more difficult if it's red meat but, it's do-able).
On the weekends, I plan day by day. If I know I'm going out to eat - I try to pull up the restaurant's menu online and figure out what I'm going to eat for dinner and work backwards from that to try to fall within my points range (I tend to go into my 35 extra points if we go out).

I bought the scale so I measure 1 or 2 pts worth of either ham, turkey or roast beef.
I measure 1 pt worth of cheese (I buy alpine lace american or swiss which is low fat and I only use 1 slice which is a point sliced thin)
I put it on a sandwich thin for 1 pt..I will add lettuce, onion, tomato, mustard(whatever I have in the house)
This makes me a nice 3-4pt sandwich...I adda side salad fulll of veggies, little light dressing (sometimes a little feta if I feel like I wanna use the points)

Re: How do you plan your WW meals?
I plan for the week. I shop for the week and cook extra on weekends to have leftovers for during the week and for lunch. I find a lot of recipees from the etools online.
