How do you prepare spaghetti squash?

I bought spaghetti squash a while ago and haven't done anything with it yet b/c I'm not sure how to prepare it for my 11 month old. Does anyone have any tips and/or recipes? TIA.

I don't know if it's the same but I make Rhys acorn squash a lot. I just cut it in half, roast it and then mash it with butter and a tiny bit of salt.

I think spaghetti squash is stringy though so you may not be able to do that.

Not up to feeding DS yet, but that's how I've made it for DH and me. After it's roasted, you scrape it with a fork to loosen up the "spaghetti". If DC needs smaller bits, you could mash/chop it up or puree it.

PS.... when I buy squashes like that, I try to make sure I grab one with a label on it. They have cooking instructions.
